Yesterday, Panasonic released information about two new G-series mFT cameras, the DMC-G2 and DMC-G10. While both models feature the same 12-megapixel Live MOS imager, Supersonic Wave Filter dust reduction system, 23-area Autofocus, 144-zone metering, etc., the upgraded G2 adds a rotating 3.0-inch touchscreen LCD, higher resolution Live Viewfinder, and AVCHD Lite, 720p HD video recording. OmniVision Sensors Allow Cell Phones to Shoot RAW Images

There’s a huge interest in being the first to create a tiny chip that’s capable of impressive performance when it comes to cellular phones.  While cell pictures can’t compare to those taken by even less expensive digital cameras, the idea of having decent photo quality without having to carry an additional device is appealing.

Olympus Launches 4 New Cameras Today

Olympus rolled out four new camera models today, two in the Stylus Tough Series and two in the SP Ultra-Zoom Series.  

The two new models in the Stylus Tough Series are the STYLUS TOUGH-8010 and STYLUS TOUGH-6020  (Available in Feb. 2010).  Both models are able to take 14-megapixel pictures down to a temperature down to 14 degrees Fahrenheit, [...]
