Photodex ProShow 5 Adds Depth Effects and GPU Acceleration

There’s something to be said for a well
crafted, professional looking slideshow. That’s what Photodex aims
to provide with the brand new ProShow Gold 5 and ProShow Producer 5.

The company says that you’ll find 300
new features in ProShow Gold 5, but the biggest is one you won’t see
on the screen. GPU acceleration has been added to the software,
which allows your graphics card to assist in crunching the numbers
and kick up the speed and capabilities of the program.

Version 5 also brings in new 3D tilt
effects that add a bit of depth to your photos and videos. The
program lets you angle your content whichever way you like and even
create your own completely new 3D effects and transitions.

ProShow 5 Gold is available now for
$69. ProShow Producer can be had at $249. Both are available now
directly from Photodex.
