Samsung Launches New High Performance SDHC Cards

July 22nd, 2011

Samsung-SDHC.jpgSamsung has launched new aluminum
finished memory cards built to withstand the elements while still
offering the fast speeds we demand.

The new Plus line of Samsung cards
boasts a Class 10 speed rating with a write speed of up to 21MB per
second. They’re designed specifically for recording of HD video and
high speed shooting. You’ll also get a read speed of 24MB per
second, ensuring that you’ll never have to wait too long for data to
transfer.

They’ve also launched an Essential
range which carries a Class 4 or Class 6 speed rating depending on
the card. They’re slower than the Plus line of course, but still
write at up to 13MB a second.

Samsung’s new cards are shockproof,
waterproof and magnet proof, which means your data is nice and safe.
They can withstand high impact and can even function after being
submerged for 24 hours in sea water.

The new line of cards will be available
this sometime summer.
