Google Adds EXIF Data to Google Image Search

July 27th, 2011

Google-EXIF.jpgLife just got a little bit easier for
those looking for more specifics from the images found using Google
Image Search. Now simply clicking to preview a photo will give you
plenty of information.

Google has added EXIF data to their
image search, which means clicking on a photo will give you plenty of
information about how it was shot. Right off the bat it will give
you the date the photo was taken and the camera used, but clicking
“More Info” will give you access to the camera settings,
lens, flash use and exposure.

In addition to EXIF data, you can hit
the “Similar Images” button to get more pictures that look
similar to the image you’ve selected.
