Apple Debuts the iPad 3 with Improved Camera and iPhoto App

March 9th, 2012

iPad3.jpgYesterday Apple announced an update to
their much beloved tablet – the iPad 3. The latest version of the
iPad steps thing up in the lacking camera department and adds a 5-megapixel camera with a backside illuminated sensor, that’s also capable of full HD video.
Apple has also added the iPhoto app to allow for editing on the go.

The iPad probably isn’t the first
device you go to when you want to take pictures, but it might be
first up when it comes to showing them off. The iPad is nice and
easy to browse through photos on thanks to it’s large touch screen, but was
previously lacking in resolution. The iPad 3 doubles the previous
pixel count with a resolution of 2048×1536.

The iPad 3 comes out on March 16th.
